1. Copyright & Ownership

All photographs, digital files, and creative works produced by McMavic Photography remain the sole property of the photographer.
Copyright is automatically vested in McMavic Photography upon creation of each image.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, McMavic Photography retains full rights to use images for portfolio, marketing, website, and social media purposes

2. Client Usage Rights

Clients are granted a limited license to use purchased images for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., printing, sharing on social media with credit).
Images may not be altered, edited, resold, or used for commercial gain without prior written consent.
No rights are transferred until full payment has been received.

3. “All Rights Reserved”

Unless otherwise stated, McMavic Photography reserves all rights to its work.
This means no reproduction, distribution, or public display of images is permitted without explicit authorization.

4. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure bookings.
Full payment is due by the agreed date. Usage rights are only granted once payment is complete.
Late payments may incur additional fees.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

6. Liability

McMavic Photography will take all reasonable steps to provide high-quality images.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to rescheduling or refund of fees paid.

7. Privacy & Consent

By booking, clients consent to McMavic Photography capturing and storing images.
Clients may request in writing that images not be used for promotional purposes.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Alberta courts.
